How we got here
We tried the famous tools. We renamed “sprints” to “shoots” and pretended tickets were deliverables.
We tracked who gets paid what in a spreadsheet next to the spreadsheet that tracked what clients owe us. We built elaborate Notion dashboards that nobody opened after week two. Every video agency we know lives exactly like this.
So we stopped pretending and built the tool we actually needed — one that knows what a deliverable is, what a day rate is, and what it means to be In Review versus In Production versus Delivered.
Story Hub is the internal tool Story Craft Agency runs on — now opening to other agencies.
Projects
Projects, the way a video
agency runs them.
Statuses that match reality: In Discussion, In Production, In Review, Delivered, and On Hold — because these are the stages a video project actually moves through.
Deadlines with visual urgency, deliverable links, client info, project types — Brand Video, Documentary, Podcast, Event Coverage. Every detail a video agency actually tracks.

Money
Both sides of the money,
finally in one place.
Client side: fixed or line-item pricing, payment statuses, invoices, and payment reminders — sent with a Slide-to-Send gesture so nothing goes out by accident.
Team side: every expense row assigned to a team member is that member's pay. A full payout ledger with ready-to-pay approvals, partial payouts, and complete history. When you edit a paid row to a higher amount, the already-paid portion stays locked — only the surplus shows as owed.
Profit per project, computed from actual numbers. Not a guess in a spreadsheet.

Planning
Quote it, win it,
convert it.
The 6-step planning wizard: build the internal cost estimate (people × day rate × days), then choose how the client sees the quote — itemized, grouped, or simplified.
Set a markup or margin, then one click converts the plan into a live project with all the cost rows already in place as expenses. The people are already assigned. The numbers are already there.

Everyone sees exactly
what they should.
Owners control visibility — members never see project prices, budgets, or anyone else's pay. But every team member gets complete clarity on their own money: what's pending, what's ready, what's been paid, project by project and month by month.
Members don't edit projects directly — they propose status changes and deliverable links; admins approve in one tap from the notification panel. Freelancers love agencies that pay transparently.

We didn't imagine this product.
We needed it.
Story Craft Agency is a video production company based in Kaunas, Lithuania. We run real client projects — brand films, documentaries, event coverage — and we've managed every one of them inside Story Hub since we built the first version for ourselves.
Every feature in Story Hub exists because we hit the problem on a real project. The payout ledger exists because we got the payouts wrong. The deliverable link proposals exist because we got locked out of a Frame.io link. The Slide-to-Send gesture exists because we once sent a payment reminder to a client who had already paid.
We're opening Story Hub to other agencies because the problem we were solving isn't unique to us — it's every video agency.
FAQ
Questions,
answered.
Story Hub is a project management platform built specifically for video production agencies. It handles projects, quoting, team payouts, client emails, contracts, and more — designed by a working video agency for the problems video agencies actually face.
Video production agencies and studios of any size, from solo operators to teams of 20+. If you're currently managing your projects in Asana, ClickUp, or a spreadsheet, and tracking team pay in a separate spreadsheet, Story Hub is built for you.
Every early-access request is reviewed personally. We're intentionally selective — we'd rather onboard a handful of agencies we can support well than open the gates all at once. Approved agencies get personal onboarding and direct access to us for feedback.
Early access is completely free for your first 3 months. After that, public pricing will start at €2/seat per month. We'll give you clear notice before any billing starts.
We don't have a fixed date — early-access agencies shape the timeline. We're building in public alongside the agencies using it. When it's ready, you'll know before anyone else.
Story Hub runs on Supabase with EU infrastructure. Each agency's data is fully isolated in its own workspace — no data is shared between agencies. We'll confirm the exact region before your workspace is created.
